Cancellation & Refund Policy

Last updated: 3 August 2026

1. Before a charge is made

Coins added to your pushka are not payments. You can remove coins, change your goal, or empty your pushka at any time before it reaches its goal, at no cost and with nothing charged.

You can also stop the 30-day auto-charge entirely under Settings → Payment → Auto-charge after 30 days, and you can remove your saved payment method at any time.

2. Cancelling a donation after it has been charged

Donations are charitable gifts and are generally non-refundable once processed. That said, we will cancel a charge and refund it in full where:

Nothing in this policy limits any right of cancellation you have under Israel's Consumer Protection Law, 5741-1981, or under the consumer law of your country of residence.

3. Cancelling recurring giving

If you have set up recurring giving, you can stop it at any time in Settings → Payment, or by writing to us. Cancellation takes effect immediately and no further charges will be made. Donations already processed before you cancelled are treated under section 2 above.

4. How to make a request

Write to support@mayanot.edu or call +972-2-538-8770 with:

We acknowledge every request within one business day.

5. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are returned to the same card that was charged. We submit the refund within 7 business days of approving it; the time it then takes to appear on your statement depends on your card issuer, and is typically a further 3–10 business days.

Where a receipt or tax summary has already been issued for a refunded donation, we will issue a corrected receipt.
